This picture is of the mouth of the Churchill River. It is located to the west of the town of Churchill, in Manitoba, Canada. Taken during October, it is possible to see the chunks of ice which will eventually form a hard cover on the Bay, allowing the bears to walk miles out in their quest to hunt seals.
